2025 PROJECT UPDATE

Thanks to generous support—including more than $100,000 in donations—the Crimson Tide Foundation delivered numerous impactful projects in 2025 that expanded hands-on STEM learning, enhanced media production, and upgraded classroom technology across the district.

  • Added drone training and the Drone Flight Simulator to strengthen drone certification pathways.

  • Expanded Astronomy I & II with Smart Telescopes for modern sky observation and imaging.

  • Upgraded the Pub & Lab with new iMacs, MacBook Pros, and MacBook Airs to support digital media, design, and publishing programs.

Media & Broadcasting Improvements

  • TideTV received a wireless microphone system and a new media backdrop to improve interview and broadcast quality.

  • Instructors received updated MacBook Pro hardware used daily for teaching, editing, and production work.

  • LengelTV implemented an Encoder to support reliable live streaming of student content and school events.

Educational Field Experiences

Tide-Tek STEM Club students participated in immersive field trips to Niagara and the Franklin Institute, reinforcing classroom learning with real-world STEM applications.
